The second post that won't get a number because it's as subjective as your last case...

Chat; performs well, I don’t need to say this.

Moving into the next question; one which I was quite happy to see. I decided to include the possible answer choices when it is a multiple choice. Chat told me they could answer it like that, and I was amused.

Once more, I answered first. I did not want to be accused of cheating by Chat. I answered with a serious, arms folded stick figure; and feel like my answer would suffice in most situations. Not only did I provide the name, I even gave what will most likely be the logical path. *There is some nuance depending on acquisition type, and analysis process*.

No one is reading this just for my answers; no. What did Chat have to say about this question?

In the vernacular of my Appalachian roots we would say, “This is amazing. This generative artificial intelligence service is quite astounding, the swiftness and completeness of the answers is rivaled by none.”

Chat performed well, in fact too well? The answer Chat provided was similar to mine, except written more eloquently and by a soulless computer system, I digress. Did I mention Chat is soulless?

It seems as though general knowledge questions are going to be a breeze for Chat, especially the multiple choice questions. Let’s check one more before call this first article a wrap.

Chat is insisting I answer first, though isn’t a fan of me doodling my answers on paper with a Posca marker.

I feel fairly confident in my answer; timestamps are a hobby of sorts for me. You could say, I’ve spent too much time on time stamps. Instead of counting to laugh at how funny I think I am, let’s see what Chat has to contribute.

Scooby Doo says “Ruh Roh”. Chat answered confidently, concisely, and incorrectly. To Chats credit, the explanation of a Unix epoch time stamp is quite nice. However, given the wrong answer; I am victorious. I didn’t expect this to be where it would trip up though, and a quick check of Googles Gemini, revealed the correct answer, call it expert shopping.

Where does this leave us? Just at the starting line, a few questions in a feeble pseudo scientific manner, with one model, not too impressive. I’ll continue the banter with Chat and report back, maybe I’ll even let chat do some of the writing. I am curious, how will Chat perform when asked specific questions about specific evidence?

Cheers,
